Most of the homes I inspect have garages with garage door openers. Today, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPS) announced a recall of approximately 10,000 Genie Garage Door Openers sold the U.S. While no injuries have been reported, there have been reports of the control board overheating in some units.
